"Legacy II" makes Meresankh's anger unmistakable. Men keep running from her after seeing the thing behind the goddess-mask, and the repeated flight becomes proof that her body now carries a terror stronger than the roles they paid for. It is Meresankh beginning to understand herself as a primordial mound of pleasure, fear, and power, the point where shame starts hardening into dominion.
